Our Mission

MyYearGroup was created to help medical students and doctors stay connected with the colleagues they trained alongside. Medicine is a long journey — from first-year anatomy to finals, foundation years, and beyond. We believe the bonds formed during medical school are some of the most valuable professional relationships you will ever have.

Our mission is simple: make it easy for every year group to stay in touch, share opportunities, and support one another throughout their careers.

Meet the Founders

MyYearGroup was created by Pat McCamley and Angus Walker, two advertising and marketing professionals who saw how difficult it was for medical graduates to stay connected after they scattered across the country.

Both founders are married to doctors, so they understand first-hand how valuable the bonds formed during medical school are — and how easily they can fade without the right tools to keep them alive.

Who We Serve

We currently support all 44 UK and Irish medical schools. Every year group gets its own private, verified space where only genuine members can join.
